Hello, welcome to my experiment. It started off as a drunken idea (at stupid o’clock) that over the last 4 years has developed into the blog you are reading today, a collection of stuff for the collection of money.

I have to admit I don’t think my idea is unique, I have read other websites where people have traded paper clips for houses or wiped out their student debt - this site is simply a personal challenge to prove people wrong who said it couldn’t be done.

The idea just wouldn’t go away.

What if even a small fraction of the sites visitors made a donation of money, small, large or simply clicked on one of the many ads throughout the blog (all money will go into the pot)? I need your help to make this work, simply send me whatever you can afford.

I want to see how much money I can accumulate via PayPal before I decide to donate this website to another John when I feel the time is right. I don’t even particularly need the money, although it would be nice. I’d like to buy something special.
